Christmas didn’t come early

Riding quality was:

Terrible

Snow conditions were:

• Crusty
• Hard
• Wet
• Wind affected

We rode:

• Alpine slopes
• Mellow slopes
• Open trees
• Sunny slopes

We stayed away from:

• Convex slopes

The day was:

• Sunny
• Warm

All time terrible conditions found skiing Christmas couloir. We found a lovely array of wind slab, sun crust, and old avalanche debris.

Some “reasonably okay” skiing seemed to exist elsewhere in Connaught.
