Comments
Spent 3 days in the Mt Breakenridge area. Almost all solar aspects had a nasty breakable crust which made for difficult skiing, under which you could find this past weeks snow storm down to 40-50cm on the Feb crust. North aspects retained some very nice 20 cm dry powder layer and skied well. Steep solar aspects had avalanched in most places. No other signs of instabilities noted but snow was getting warm and moist below 1700 m as we left the area on Sunday.
