Comments
Spent a day on the NE shoulder of Claimstake skiing off both sides. Snow was amazing for turns! 30-45cm of wind deposit, fairly dry snow. New warmer storm snow was collecting on top and was cohesive in some areas, but fully unconsolidated in others. Dug a pit at 1900m - ECT failed at 6 elbow taps on a crust 30cm down. No propagation. Seemed to be warming through the day.
