Comments
No coverage from parking lot but skinnable after 15 min of hiking. The road has enough coverage for careful skiing but watch for rocks. Coverage improved rapidly with elevation and above 1000m.
Light to moderate snow throughout the day, cold temps and no sun made for great skiing conditions. 30-40 cm of unconsolidated snow that was very well preserved in the trees. Below that a supportive crust. Hand pints on north aspects 1300-1600 m showed resistant planer results. No signs of instabilities. Did not venture higher than 1600 m due to poor vis and wind.
