Cracking observed near 2,200 m as we were skinning up.

No failure and no propagation in the extended column test.
Size 1.5 avalanche crown under Crowfoot Glacier at 51.64019, -116.43844. Likely triggered by serac or cornice failure on a persistent weak layer.
Descent: Skied the skier's left of the glades, exiting near the creek around (51.64453, -116.42762).
