Avalanche conditions

• Rapid temperature rise to near or above 0°C or wet surface snow.

Snow was heavy/sticky at treeline and alpine. Sunday morning light rain at the hut turned to flurries then cleared by 9am. Heard wet looses releasing Sunday afternoon. Drizzle below 1600m Monday AM.

Snowline was just above the road but approach had several open creeks. The dense trees were covered in tree debris but the skin track was soft enough. Could ski out without removing skis if you aren't afraid of scratches.
