Comments
First time up in this area, found great skiing on the south/lee aspects. We skied some tree runs and ventured into more open paths. Snow conditions where excellent, we stayed away from the bigger alpine runs as the wind effect was more pronounced. Lots of soft snow available for transport.
Small soft wind slab cookies at ridge crest released easily. These where 10-15 cm thick. While some very firm slab about 20cm thick was more stubborn.
Evidence of a size 1 natural on East facing aspect, >48 hrs.
Likely wind slab + cornice.
