Comments
Got a couple mellow laps on Forum in. -3 at the parking lot at 1130 with a stiff west wind. Found ~10cm of fresh powder overlying generally firm crusts on the mellow slopes down towards Cameron Lake. Considering the new snow and obvious wind loading we kept our terrain choices mellow. No signs of instability noted. By return to the car at ~1600 the wind had abruptly shifted to the NE and the car read -15, feeling much colder than that.
