Comments
We ventured off to Black Tusk via Cheakamus and sledded 5km up Microwave tower road (Cheakamus FSR) until the gate and walked the rest all the way to the ridge, right before Black Tusk. The snow was really good, in trees, above trees and in the alpine. The approach to BT was easy. The weather is phenomenal. After the summit we road down to the tent, over all kinds of slopes, angles and aspects. Incredible snow. no signs of instability, everything was great. no signs of concern from our end
