Comments
Started the day with a supportive crust, transitioned to spring corn before going isothermal around 1:00 pm as we descended in elevation.
Size 1 wet looses observed on steep, rocky, alpine + solar slopes. Observed from a distance but seemed to be a day or two old.
No natural roller balls observed, some roller balls from us skiing down.
Cloudy all day with sporadic wind, rain and snow.
Hiked to about the second creek crossing (~2km), skinned up to the hut from there. Icy conditions on the road as you approach snowline, cleats would be nice to have for the walk up/ down!
