Comments
Snow conditions report for 2 day trip to the Fire Spires:
- Snow line at ~1000m
- Very hot by the afternoon, snow had gone fully isothermal. Good refreezes overnight.
- Surprisingly saw almost no movement / anything sloughing in the hot sun even late in the afternoon
- Lots of signs of previous wet loose slides that were a few days old
- South chute up to Terrarosa glacier had largest pinwheels I've ever seen, the size of small cars
