Comments
During a maintenance run to Cameron Lake Cabin I observed several recent slides along the far end of the lake and above the Little Prairie parking lot, most likely triggered by the warming temps. Slides varied from size 1-2.5, and the crowns appeared to only be about 30ish cm deep. No stepping down or deeper propagation seemed to have occured, and all slides originated from thick to thin areas.
The snow at lake level was wet, bordering on isothermal in the thin areas off the road. Temps were around +7 at 11am.
