Comments
Way too windy and hazardous to go to the alpine, so we skied a pipeline right of way and some exploration roads. 35 to 45 cm new snow on a melt freeze crust, tapering down to zero in wind exposed areas even below treeline. New snow is bonded well to the crust. Got some good turns in the most sheltered areas.
