Obs from lake. Bulletproof crust with pockets of redistributed powder. Significant wind transport with lee side on northerly aspects. Surface form 1-3mm SH to DF. 2-5cm new snow below TL. Air temp -1 at 742m. HS 140cm.
Winds light to nil, skies clear. Strong jet stream from the NW. Skiing variable but overall no ankle breaking crust! Approach is 3km hike up to decent skinnable snow. Also bring ski crampons...
