Comments
The snowpack has almost doubled since I was here 2 weeks ago. 190cm at the cabin, 260cm in the northern drainages closer to the Torpy River. Breaking trail was soul-crushing. Skiing was great in terrain that was steep enough. We avoided wind-loaded convex features at treeline. Snow below treeline remained unconsolidated and is where the best quality was found.
