Comments
Surprisingly lovely north shore hiking weather, despite all the recent rain! ~3-4cm of wet, loose-ish, heavier snow (from a few days ago) on top of a very hard bed. Top layer was staying put, but could be brushed away by hand. Could jump up and down without falling through the bed. Surface got a bit looser with the afternoon sun, spikes required but not snowshoes. Hopefully the next system brings a bit of spring snow, to help make up for this atrocious winter!
