Comments
Skied mellow trees on slopes less than 25 degrees. Inched our way up to 2000m on north aspect. No shooting cracks on whumps. Limited visibility for much of the afternoon with dense fog at times. 100cm of storm snow at 2000m. Foot penetration was 100cm. About 15cm of lighter snow since Sunday when temps dropped. Not the lightest of pow, snow conditions improve above 1600m. Extremely heavy load on some nasty layers. Deep instabilities so I guess time will tell if they gain strength...
