Comments

We found the crust at all elevations with 10-45cm of light unconsolidated snow in most places. It was cloudy and snowing until mid day. Then visibility increased and we had moments of warm sunshine. There was obvious wind loading and cornices on most north-east ish aspects. What wasn't wind loaded along ridge top was scoured. All steep slopes were sluffing below our tracks and traveling quite far. Skiing diminished on solar aspects and everywhere else heat of the day, getting quite wet.

....as forecasted.

It even went into the face.
