Good skiing off the Burstall Pass Peak North, good enough to do a second lap. Probably would have done a third if it hadn’t of been for 3 ptarmigans who popped out mid slope. Visibility was poor, light was flat, there are some rocks closer to the North shoulder where we put the skin track. HS mid slope was 120cm.
In the third picture you can just make out 2 of the ptarmigans flying alongside the skier.
