Last day of Highwood Pass being open to car traffic. Morning temperature was Minus 15° . Busy area with many skiers and snowshoers mostly headed to and from Pocaterra Ridge and bowl.. Tough access trail.
We skied north facing (in the shade all day) aspects below Highwood and Grizzly Ridge. Slope angles estimates on these concave slopes ranged from 35° up high to 15° near bottom.
Delightful powder 15 cm on top of settled snow. A few fresh turns to be had... :-)
