Comments
Great conditions exist in the alpine near Atlin right now. Group of Burdette dwellers spent a few days exploring and skiing a variety of lines from the cabin. On April 9 & 10 we travelled a lot of terrain and worked our way from low angle saddle lines to steep north facing chutes and encountered no signs of instabilities or recent avalanche activity. Old debris from the was noticed and assumed to be from the last warming event as it appeared quite old. Probed 100+ at cabin and 150 on a lee slopes. A sun crust may be encountered in valley bottoms but snow above 1500m remains soft and provided some fantastic conditions.
