Comments
~10cm of new snow to start, with heavy snowfall accumulating throughout the day (as forecast). Below the new snow it was a hard crust on solar aspects, breakable/minimal crust in shaded areas. Ski quality was better than expected - enough powder to work on top of the crust - and improved by the hour. No signs of instability, and the new snow was not cohesive as it fell, but didn’t stay late enough to notice if that changed.
