Comments
Saw a size 2-2.5 in Work channel road bowl. Probably ran on Feb 7 crust. Looked like cornice triggered. 80 meter wide and ran 500 meters. I Believe it ran mid week.
Dug a pit near the dicharge of the lake at 700 meters n-e aspect. CTM 13 down 18 cm then cth 23 down 40. All sudden collapse.
ECTN the feb 7 crust was down 70 cm. There was a grey layer down 60 (maybee SH). The HS is 300.
Dug a second quick pit at 900 meters same aspect before our last run skiers right of the main bowl.
No signs of instability... but kept it fairly conservative.
Great skiing close to home !
