Comments
While I started Traversing down into this creek the layer broke away right under me, It was enough to carry me and my sled 2-3 feet down hill as it was quite steep. The zone had gotten quite a bit of fresh snow the night before we got there, So the snow sluffing out all around you and in front of you was common. This was the second actual slab I saw break away but the first one was much smaller, Both on steep hills. Pretty much harmless in areas like these for the most part but keep an eye out on those large open faces where the slab could accumulate quickly.
