Snow was wet cement down below. Improved past 1,600m. Some weather came in when we reached the E base of Tete Roche ~1,800. No avalanches visible. Tried to take a peak N into the valley but the clouds came in.
Pit from E aspect resulted in break at facets ~25cm down. Powder was relatively dry above 1,600. Wet and not as pleasant for final 500m of descent.
