We found powder in Bejoux, but were wary of the mid-December crust. Although this layer is producing hard results in tests we are still riding in simple terrain because of recent large avalanches on this layer.
With the cloud level at 1500m we couldn't see into the alpine and check for wind slabs.
There was a light northerly wind and flurries during the day.
