Comments
Amazing day spent below tree line due to no visibility at tree line or above. 28cms overnight in valley bottom which seemed to stay the same or grow very little as we gained elevation. No real alpine obs. Several small breaks, cracks, whumps etc on creeksides, convex features in the trees, small open slopes in the trees etc. down 60cms on surface hoar to 8mm. Small glimps of sub alpine slopes near open treeline showed two small sz1 loose dry events from steep alpine features. Snowing lightly most of the day above 1200m...rain below in the pm hrs. Very limited travel today. Hid from the dragons and kept it techy in the trees.
