Comments
The alpine is wind hammered with 1 meter high sastrugi in places where it was raked for 2 days by extreme nw winds.
The riding quality below tree line is quite good. We rode 1900 - 1500 on n aspects with good ground coverage and great Ski quality. Coverage gets sparse below 1500 but still reasonable to 1300 m.
Snow profile 1750 m nw aspect. 170-190 cm depth. Mid dec down 45 cm with new snow bonding well to the old surface, below lies 1 finger snow. The late November rain crust is down 70 with the lower snowpack well settled. ECTX (no results) CTN (no result).
