Comments
On the ride out of Kakwa we saw stormy weather moving in. The wind was gusting and snow was blowing off peaks. In the trees there was noticable less snow then when we rode in as a result of the recent warm temperatures.
The new snow in the forecast will be falling on a variety of surfaces including hard wind scoured snow in the Alpine, a melt-freeze crust Treeline down and pockets of surface hoar in sheltered areas.
