Comments
Skied up Loop Ridge today. +2 at the car in the AM, +10 on return. Enough snow for continuous skinning on the roads, but melting fast. Some significant whumphing with long (100m+) shooting cracks on a wind-loaded road cut, but no terrain steep enough to slide. On descent the already marginal freeze was greatly decimated despite the cloudy day. Some isothermal sections, but overall adequate for quick descent of the road.
