Comments
Skied north facing glades up the Windfall road. Amazing snow because of the lack of wind and cold temps (-10C). We didn’t go to the ridge crest because it’s steeper and previous wind has drifted it into big rollers, but it looked like powder to the top. Dug a hasty pit and found a wind crust at 45 down (probably from high winds last weekend) and a melt freeze crust at 105. Height of snow 235. New snow is well bonded to the wind crust. Light north winds weren’t affecting the powder.
