Comments
Great day in the alpine, learning from a family of goats how to ridge walk. Wind effect above treeline. Trigger sz 1 wind slab in N facing couloir, 15-20 cm deep. Solars were cooking, so stayed on NE slopes. Some glide cracks opening on Ghostrider chutes. Moderate - strong westerlies at ridgetop kept surfaces cooler up high. Surface hoar growth to 7mm, melted on solars. Gotta pay the exit fee.
