Comments
Heavy winds and snow today, at low elevation up to 45 cms of new snow.. as soon as you left the bigger trees, winds affected the snow in the usual wind protected gullies, good turns were found very low down on the Fraser chutes .. which made for very short laps and a very short day.. if the storm leaves with a little less wind maybe the riding will improve.. as it was still snowing when we left , maybe Fraser ridge would have been better skiing (lookers right of the chutes)! The sledding in the meadows should be supreme .. “upside down snowpack” with lots of snow in the valley and little in the alpine, windward places.
