Comments

Nov 11th report - app is acting up. Skied Twin Cairns N face today, followed by the E aspect and then moved to Wawa bowl E aspect. Snowpack was quite similar to the profile posted by Parks. Quick dig on the N aspect of twin cairns at 2440m had a 15cm crust with facets underneath and unconsolidated snow on top with a bit of SH for a total HS of 60cm. Extremely supportive crust. N aspect skied much better than E which requires digging in the edges. Wawa bowl was actually quite good. No signs of instabilities. Crampons were useful on the up on W aspect but certainly not mandatory. No power sluffing and the old wind slabs underneath Tue snow were non reactive. Will get interesting once the crust starts to decompose over time.
