Decided to descend before making it all the way up to Montana Peak after realizing how difficult to ski the crust was. Concrete-like, yet your skis sink down just enough so that you have to fight against the crust to get a proper turn in. During our first ski into the bowl, it was the crust that had control of our skis -- not us. Had enough of that for the day. Vibes were high regardless
