Fryatt Valley - Athabasca river crossing

Had a long look at the Athabasca river optional crossing spot for accessing the Fryatt valley/Sydney Vallance hut on new year's day - unfortunately no chance of getting over the open water on skis at this point as far as I could see in either direction.
