Comments
Skied into the hut on Saturday from the Rover creek side, back out on Sunday. Saturday saw a cold start, but very warm in the sun later on. Major sun crust forming on sunny slopes.
Sunday we skied out the same way. We attempted to summit Siwash but could not find a way around the cornices we were comfortable with. As a consolation prize, we managed to find some nice snow to ski down on north east facing slopes.
Tons of previous sled tracks including lots of high marking tracks, which did not appear to trigger any slopes. On the ridges to Siwash some wind slabs could be found.
