Avalanche Observations from a road patrol to Hwy 93N. Evidence of the avalanche cycle last week from sz 2 to sz 3. Most activity was on E aspects however there were notable events on every aspect. Some events clearly involved only storm snow while many others displayed impressive propagation indicative of a persistent slab, particularly near treeline. All events are at least 24hrs old with some likely having occurred earlier in the storm.
