Comments
Good day at skip ! Verry deep trail breaking! Arount 100 cm of new storm snow at lake level.
We dug a pit at 600 meters ene facing.
Two layers of concern. The overnight new snow (30 cm) that was giving moderate shear but not to much cohesive yet (no result in the ect test) and one other interface down 70 (preserved stellar) that one did propagate accross the entire block on our ECT test in the hard range. It was pretty clean shear.
Later in the day the first layer started to naturally avalanches all along the top of the main bowl with a lot of propagation then.(maybe more wind affected up there) but no step down on the more concerning layer! There was multiple size 1.5 across the entire bowl.
We skied a few runs down low in lower angle terrain.
HS was 320 cm !
