Comments

The Wheaton hasn't been through a widespread natural cycle, but at its thinnest extent (W side of Grey ridge, and Northeast end of the valley) there is significant avalanche activity from steep and rocky start zones. Wet slides running far, probably size 1-2 for the most part based on their size, but certainly with a more '2+' feeling for destructive potential! Several of these have run to ground. No similar aspects further down the valley observed to have run.
