Bow lake made some interesting sounds on the morning approach, and with the afternoon slush we took the lakeshore trail on our way back. Travel in the canyon is good, ski crampons were almost mandatory in the morning. Trail might need to be rerouted in a couple places, bridges are falling apart fast. Travel on the icefield was perfect, fast in the morning, soft in the afternoon. Probed 300cm+ in multiple locations. NW route up Gordon is in good shape, only 10 steps of bootpacking required. Plenty of small wet naturals on steep terrain, but nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year.
