Comments
Skinned up an N-N.E. aspect and was consistently seeing shooting cracks and isolated storm slabs releasing on convex rolls with a depth of 25cm at 1800m. Rode down a S-S.E aspect and saw less signs of instabilities, but still releasing a few small pockets on unsupported rolls. Snow was heavy and moist up to 1500m, any areas in the denser trees up to 1900m had a firm crust.
