Comments
We ski toured in Treaty Creek the past 2 days and found an average of 30cm low density snow over rocks or summer snow (skiing magnificently when there’s summer snow underneath). The snow is quite faceted from recent cold temperatures, so it will be interesting if we get a lot of snow in the next few days! We had one shooting crack 30cm deep on a convex roll with summer snow underneath, but no significant avalanche concerns up to 2100m.
