Recent winds have stripped or made sastrugi on the ridges. Moderate outflow winds, temps below zero, visibility unlimited, sky overcast, no visible naturals, few dinner plate shooting cracks skinning, terrain still very rough, ski pen 5-10cm on the ridge, 15-30 in the bowl and below treeline.
Skied Geronimo before the crowds got to it. SE facing alpine run. Staying in protected parts of the alpine section found dry powder. One small skier accidental Sz 1 windslab near the bottom of the bowl. BTL skied really well given how much snow there is.
