Comments
A size 1 dry loose avalanche was observed near our descent line on Mushroom People. It originated in extreme terrain and entrained the HST which is able to travel far and fast on the firm wind affect below. Otherwise no new avalanches observed.
Consistent flurries throughout the day in the Asulkan drainage (sounds like a different story in Connaught). Light winds with no obvious wind transport occurring throughout the day. Poor viz resulted in a change of plans.
Ski quality is on the mend, with 10-15cm low density HST on top of firm breakable wind affect. With another 10cm the ski quality will be excellent!
