Comments

About 30 cm of recent storm snow. Periods of intense precip and wind in the morning. Able to find safe good skiing on a sheltered east aspect where the wind had not slabbed things up. Intense snow and winds in the morning. By mid-day the winds and visibility improved allowing some very nice sunny conditions. It seemed like the freezing level was somewhere in the 1300 metre range in this part of the Purcells.
