Comments
We headed out of the car park around 11am. There was about 10cm of new snow on the way up which was moist to the crust. Crust was supportive to skis and boots.
We saw several small point releases and a couple size 1 wet loose avalanches on south aspect during the acscent, mostly out of the headwall which you can see in the photos. Only entraining the new storm snow.
On the descent of the north aspect there was about 15cm of dry snow on top of a very supportive crust which made for great skiing, started to become moist towards treeline.
