Comments
Spent 3 nights at the Sydney Vallance hut from the 29th-1st river was not frozen yet expect to be on foot for the first half and a very shallow snow pack and lots of rocks for the second half. Snow pack at the hut was also shallow about 60-70 cm with a fairly reactive facet layer (CTE 11) about 30cm down, we heard a lot of whumpfs and saw lots of shooting cracks so we kept to fairly mellow slopes but did manage to find a few turns!
