At 1:30 PM an avalanche was triggered on Mount Kidd. The avalanche was observed by a group of climbers at Wedge Smear. The avalanche travelled over the Kidd Falls ice climb. There were frequent wind gusts at approximately 40 km/h at Wedge Smear.
