Comments
Hey, we had a great time snowmobiling, ski touring and snowboarding today. It was like -6c at 1750m and scattered clouds. The snowpack whumpfed when we walked around on it. The sled remote triggered a size 1 avalanche from 10 meters away on a bed surface that was crusty and hoary at 1730 meters elevaton. We pushed the limits today and toured on slopes as steep as 33.5 degrees but were weary of such actions and observant of overhead hazards, spacing between persons, convexities, blah blah blah. Snowboarded a 400m supported slope. 5 cms of dry stellar snow covered wet snow on south aspects. Sledding seemed deep as 50 to 80cms and ski pen was like 35cm.
